NorCA/NV SAQA

Local Connections are active across California and Nevada. Several groups have had meetings. The activities at these meetings include; critique sessions, Show and Tell, writing artist statements, sharing the SAQA global trunk show and visiting Museums. The advantage is meeting closer to home.

East Bay

This group meets the second Thursday of odd months (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov.) at 1:00 PM at Susan Heller’s home in Walnut Creek. Occasionally, we see an exhibit that interests us in place of the meeting at Susan’s home. Greater Sacramento/Foothills

This group meets regularly on Zoom every other month (even months) the second Thursday at 11:00 AM. If you would like to be put on their group email list so that you receive their Zoom invitations, contact Diana via the Contact Form. Remember, any member can participate in any Local Connection.

Central Coast Fiber Artists

This group meets monthly on Zoom. They meet the 3rd Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  If you would like to be put on their group email list so that you receive their Zoom invitations, use the Contact Form to contact Nancy Gonzalez Caro who maintains the email list for the group. Reno/Tahoe

Where: South Valleys Library, Reno.  We meet every other month (odd number months) on the third Monday at the South Valley Library in Reno on Whites Creek Lane (GPS to15650 Wedge Parkway), from noon to 2 pm.  March’s meeting will be on Monday the 10th 1 pm to 3 pm, due to a conflict in scheduling with the Library.
